I wanted to take a minute to let you know about my experience with [Dr. Walter] and [his] staff. I came to see [them] after extensive research on the web. I spent considerable time educating myself about the options and learning about Smart lipo. I was motivated by my upcoming 50th birthday. I have always been a fit strong person and have been an active athlete all my life. However, as I have gotten older and after three pregnancies, I had the dreaded kangaroo pouch around my abdomen and love handles that persisted no matter how many sit ups I did or miles I ran.

I decided that for my birthday, I wanted to see if I could be in the best shape of my life. I spent 90 days completing an extreme fitness program that got me super fit. As the finishing touch, I came to [Medical Aesthetics of New England, PC] for the smart lipo procedure. Although I was nervous, I was very excited to see the results. HCG Diet

I couldn't be happier with the results of using the HCG diet. I've seen considerable weight loss over all but even the stubborn fat in my thighs has seemed to diminish. My husband tells me that he's never seen me so skinny and I get compliments all the time. Part of my apprehension with starting the diet was my fear of needles. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to give myself an injection every day (I faint when my blood is drawn) but with Dr. Walter's instruction I had no trouble at all. Wow. My friends threw me a 50th Birthday Party at Glen Ellis Campground. I was so excited… that is, until I saw the pictures. Wow, who was this chubby soul. I decided to do something about it. I tried for a year on my own to no avail. Then I signed up for Jenny Craig for $300 on November 6, 2008. Nine months later and $4258 spent on food for just myself, I had lost 20 pounds and was struggling to keep the weight off as I began to take myself off their food and on to regular prepared meals.

The program cost <$900, ran for 40 days, under the care of a physician, eating only 500 calories a day. "I can do anything for 40 days", I told myself. After all, Lent is 40 days and I always give up something important. I'm sure I can go 40 days being hungry. Why not give it a try.

I lost 23 pounds in 40 days, was barely ever hungry, and felt great the whole time. After the first week, I found myself sleeping through the night, which I could not remember the last time that happened.My energy level never waivered. If anything, it increased. And there was no time to really get discouraged. The third week I had not lost a pound, but I had only 3 more weeks to go and I saw what the first two weeks did to my weight and measurements. And thank heavens for the once in a while hunger pangs… I would have forgotten to eat those delicious apples.

I'm back on it again for another cycle to lose additional weight, have lost 12 pounds so far and still have 3 weeks to go. Wish me luck. And what are you waiting for? The whole concept makes sense, and I was able to feed my family of 4 with the same foods I was cooking for myself. I just added rice/potatoes for them. So simple. Go for it.

Laser Hair Removal

I had a most positive experience with facial laser hair removal. I had my neck, chin, cheeks and eyebrows done. When I started I had significant hair growth. Tammy D'Agostino, the aesthetician/laser tech is a highly skilled professional. She loves what she does and she does it really well! She is skilled and informed, and she advocates for the patient as she goes. More importantly she is warm and relaxed and fun.
